School Development Priorities

At Springside, we use a creative and innovative approach to school development. Each year, we identify priorities for our whole school community to improve outcomes for all learners. We evaluate the impact of our previous development plan and agree the priorities to take forward. All developments are informed by national and local contexts and current initiatives.

To ensure our priorities are financially viable and aligned with identified needs, we evaluate the success of the development plan in March. As we move forward, we cater for our learners through distinct pathways and targeted provision. We refer to ASC and PMLD standards, linked to clear success criteria. We use reflective questions to provoke thinking and encourage dialogue among a range of stakeholders, with a clear focus on effective teaching and learning.
