Dinosaur's Blog

This term the Dinosaurs have been learning about people that help us. The children have learnt about the adults that help us in school, people that help us in the community and Florence Nightingale.

The children enjoyed role-playing the sick and injured in our make-shift old-fashioned hospital. The children were given pale faces and blood-soaked banages for their wounds. They were very good at moaning and groaning about their ailments and how uncomfy they were on the floor! Amelia was our lead role - Florence Nightingale - and did a fantastic job running around trying to make sure everyone had some medicine and fresh orange slices. Everybody felt better after Florence had looked after them!
