New Blog Post

Penguin Class have had a wonderful but short first week back in school after the Easter Holidays.

The children have returned to school with fantastic attitudes to their learning and we have already seen great progress in just a short week.

We enjoyed our bus trip to St. George's church to learn all about the story of Easter with Vicar Sylvia who arranged a fun interactive quiz for us. We have been working really hard on recapping our work and filling the gaps in our learning this week especially with counting and shape recognition.

We also had a great time during our 'transition' afternoon experiencing a camping trip which included singing camp songs, fishing for our dinner and creating tents to camp out under the twinkling night sky. We are very excited for the next few weeks of meeting new teachers and trying out new activities with them while Miss Kelly visits some other classes!
