Rights Respecting School News, 9.7.21

Here's an overview of this week's Rights Respecting School news...

This week several classes across the investigative and experiential phases visited the M6 theatre to watch a fantastic play called ‘Pebble on the Beach’ to celebrate our whole school theme of Water coming to an end.  Article 31 ensures that all children have the right to take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities such as attending the theatre.  The learners loved the show and wondering who or what exactly Pebble was inside the box at the beach! Some of us loved it that much we even went again in the afternoon with another class!  Tigers class have also had an exciting visitor this week – our school gerbil Skylar has come to stay with us for the week. We have enjoyed looking after her, considering her rights and thinking about what she needs, to be taken care of correctly as well as giving her lots of different items to play with.
