Have your say

Here at Springside we believe that all behaviour is a form of communication. We are always striving to develop our learners to ensure this communication is appropriate and as easy as possible. Nevertheless, there are occasions where our learners require different levels support as they develop these skills.
We are currently updating our Behaviour policy which outlines how we work with our learners to develop these skills. We are also updating our restrictive physical intervention policy which, on occasions we have to utilise to ensure everybody in our community is safe.
We are currently undertaking a consultation period for these policies and invite all families to view the draft policies below and share their opinions on them via office@springside.rochdale.sch.uk please use the email subject POLICY CONSULTATION.
In addition, we are invite all families to a session whereby our behaviour lead, Mark Hitchen, will be sharing our vision and how the policy is reflected in day to day practice. This will take place early next half term, if you wish to attend please check your child’s bag and reply to the letter that will be sent home shortly.
