Autumn Term Blog
This half term EYFS have enjoyed lots of fun in the snow! Although the weather outside has been frightful our activities have been delightful! We have enjoyed making snowmen, sledging, visiting Manchester Airport and Boomerang. The children have explored lots of fairy-tale books in particular Cinderella. We have looked at different transport and learnt new songs such as ‘Down by the Station’ and ‘Journey home from grandpa’s’. The children have been busy making cars, trains and aeroplanes to use in the classroom and outdoors. Class 3 have made a beautiful display of all the different types of transport in our stories, adding lots of colour and sensory materials to their room. This half term the children have been brushing their teeth after dinner and our number focus has involved learning lots about different shapes! EYFS have had lots of fun experiencing new activities as part of creativity week focussing on Chinese New Year. We celebrated with a Chinese banquet including our home made spring rolls. We are very proud of EYFS and all their achievements so far.
